How would you like to be involved?
What opportunities do you see for our community? Contact us – we’d love to have a conversation!
A Living Wage provides an income to maintain a modest standard of living in the community and a means to save for future needs and goals. Opportunities Waterloo Region estimated a Living Wage at $13.62/hr. This is the amount a single adult working full-time, full-year needs to make in order to sustain a modest standard of living.
If you would like to express your support for the Regional Municipality of Waterloo’s decision to consider a Living Wage policy for all those who serve our regional government, please send a letter to your councillor. For your convenience, the councillors’ information and template letters have been provided below.
